Repairing a small tear
You'll need a silicone repair adhesive (ideally from your doll's maker), an isopropyl-free cleaner and a spatula:
- Clean and fully dry the area around the tear.
- Apply a thin layer of adhesive inside the tear and press the edges together.
- Smooth any excess flush with the surface.
- Leave to cure for the full time stated on the product — usually 12–24 hours.
Removing stains
Because silicone is non-porous, most marks wipe off with mild soap alone. For dye transfer from clothing, gently use a stain remover the manufacturer recommends. Prevention is the easier path — see our care guide.
